2012 State Pageant - Help at formal wear practice

 I am not sure if the formal wear practice is more for the contestants or for their dads. So fun to see all of them practice their turns and walks. I think the dads/brothers were just as nervous. Good thing this was just practice.

 Brittany is so thoughtful with these little candy bags.

We even had chances to visit with the contestants and take pictures with them!

 Then when practice was over and the contestants had left, Brittany and I got a little silly. Practicing with STIFF arms and crazy walks. So funny!

2012 State Pageant - Introduction & Orientation

Here we are, being introduced to all this year's great contestants

 We each had to do a brief introduction. We of course wanted to make them laugh a little. I told the contestants and their parents if they had any questions, to just go and ask my mom!

 After our introductions, the NAMily group introduced themselves, Breanne Maples has the microphone and is the one Assoc. Director in charge of this whole weekend. Wow, what a big job that is! Love my NAMily!!!!!

2012 State Pageant - Check In

 Back together again, me and my sister queens and AZ sister queens for our 2012 State Pageant. I am excited and a little sad that this adventure is coming to an end and I will be crowning my successor at the end of this weekend.

 My job at check in was to give each contestant their name badges. It was so much fun getting to see them. Some were excited, others nervous, others curious at this new experience. I remember all of those feelings last year.

 Here is Brittany. She is doing double duty because our Miss Utah Teen, Aubrey is working at Disneyland Japan and was not able to come back for the pageant.

 I got to go the AZ pageant just the week before this and spent a lot of time with Raina and her family. So glad they decided at the last minute to come up and join us for this weekend.

Farewell Video

Here is my farewell video that my Dad and Mom helped me with to show at the State Pageant right before I crowned my successor. The hard part was that the video could only be 2 minutes long and I had so many more things I wanted to share and people to thank.
