Helping out at this year's NAM Open Call

I remember getting that postcard in the mail from National American Miss last year. I had always wanted to try a pageant, but my Mom was hesitant. She was worried it would be like some of those crazy pageant shows on tv. Luckily, National American Miss had the edge because it is a natural pageant (strick rules - no make up for girls 12 and under), and focused on community involvement, public speaking, and personal interview. So Mom said "YES".

It's funny that a year has gone by. Last year, we didn't know what to expect about NAM and the State pageant and all. And now, its been a year and I got to go and help at the open call. I hope these girls got excited too!
